| The Ultrasonic MkIII
board works in a similar way to the MkII board except that the LM393
comparators have been replaced with the onboard PIC16F628 comparators.
This simplifies the circuit and reduces the PCB footprint.
The circuit has one adjustment, the trigger level
for the comparators. This is the level at which the echo (return
signal) has to be before it triggers the output. This has the
effect of reducing/increasing the sensitivity of the circuit. Turn
clockwise to increase the sensitivity.
The board has an ICSP for in circuit
programming, you can program it from scratch if you wish or use the
download area to download files and programs.
